Nursery Reveal

We've officially completed the first room in our home - the nursery! If you remember back to the plans, I wanted to go with a vintage/woodland vibe, and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out! I wanted to create a space that was relaxing, blended with the rest of the house, and didn't feel like a kid-only zone (figure I should do what I want until I have to put up Paw Patrol wallpaper in a few years!).

I loved adding personal touches to each corner of the room. The bedskirt was mine as a baby. My grandma has also made all of her grandkids quilts, and I'm so excited she was able to make one for my baby now!

I had a SUPER cute vintage metal sign to hang over the crib, but turns out hanging old metal things over the crib isn't a good idea. I ended up finding a dream catcher at a vintage shop, turning it sideways and adding some more vintage ribbon and charms. Ta-da! Instant mobile

In case you haven't noticed, I'm a big woodland/animal fan anyways. Aside from the chicken stuffed animal, everything I styled the room with I already had!

One of my biggest desires for this room was to include some dark floral wallpaper. Turns out that stuff is EXPENSIVE. I ended up finding this great giant tapestry that my parents built a frame for and hung on the wall. It provides such a nice backdrop for the room!

My mom found this cute llama from Walmart of all places! It's become one of my favorite things and reminds me of our trip to Peru.

I tried to bring out family into this room as much as possible - from the photos hanging over the dresser, to the greyhound pillow that was actually our ring holder at our wedding!

Had to capture a picture of the closet before it becomes a disaster haha. I got a simple cube shelf from Target to stow all her toys away in.

Can't wait to use all these dresses :)

This room was formerly my office. I kept the metal bulletin board I had up to hang photos of our family up and some of my favorite small art pieces.

I love how even the small details in this room are special - like the little bird finial I found for her lamp.

I can't wait to see baby girl in this room in just a few short weeks!
